Who is Annie
To Industry People: We agreed that I would be Duane's internet representative, and for a long time going through me was the only way to get in touch with Duane. It's still the easiest way, but there are other options:
Duane has an agent in Hollywood now. If you are a casting director, get in touch with the agent directly or send me a line if you can't locate that info easily (it isn't easily found). For independents and those new to the biz, contacting me is still the easiest way to go - for now.
Send me an e-mail with a description of what you want to contact him about. Provide a phone number in the first mail. Also a business/mail address is a good thing for backup purposes, although he or a representative usually calls first. The best way to do this is if I immediately send a reply after I've received your mail, so you'll know it's received. I'll give you a time when I'll call him. I'll give you a time when I'll be able to send a fax to him. If I'm off the net for a while, I'll usually have an auto forward telling you when I'll be back.
Because I now usually send a fax, I'll send your e-mail as a fax. Because of this it's important you send me a second e-mail right away if the first wasn't clear enough or you want to change something.
To make this system reliable it's also important you let me know if something's gone wrong after you've made initial contact with Duane (in the event there's something wrong with his answering machine, or messages have gotten lost). It's unlikely to happen, but it's never a good idea to have a single point of failure - if you only have one phone number.
Send
mail here:
. This address goes to me (Annie), not Duane. I'd appreciate it if
you typed Loken; at the beginning of the subject line. That will make it
easier to sort the mails and read those quickly when I'm on the go. If you don't have an e-mail program, no
problem - you can use the mail
form. No mail program or address necessary - although an
e-mail address is strongly recommended.
To old friends:
Phone:
To make a long story short: Duane has moved a number of times, and even though he may have given you a phone number
chances are someone else will answer that number now, or you'll
get one of those annoying messages from the phone company.
Anyway, if you're unable to reach him for some reason, send me a
message (include phone number, fax number and address. He has no
use for your e-mail address at this time, but sometimes asks me
to send a message via e-mail), and I'll get it to him. What
happens next is up to him.
Address:
His old addresses from when he was in Scandinavia won't work, so there's no
point in sending mail there. You'll need new address info, so send me a message
for him.
He's also lost contact with a lot of his friends in Norway due to a change in area codes there a while back - and Duane was stuck with the old ones. By now a lot of people have changed their number many times over anyway... Don't know about Sweden and New Zealand and other places... I've helped him with tracking down a number of friends he'd lost contact with, both in Norway and Sweden. Old friends, even from California, have gotten in touch with him through me.
Use my regular e-mail address for "friend mail":
I'd appreciate it if you typed Loken; at the beginning of the
subject line. That will make it easier to sort the mails and read those quickly
when I'm on the go.
To fans: I've tried sending Duane CD-roms in the past, but getting him to watch the contents is impossible. The best way for now is to send fax or snail mail. That means short text messages is the way to go for now.

News about Duane for everybody
There's an announcement mailinglist for fans and friends of Duane. This list has news in English and Scandinavian. I don't want to have to guess if people want to receive news about Duane in particular, and this is one way to do that instead of willy nilly mailing people who expressed an interest in him at one time. Show your support by subscribing to the newsletter. It's the precursor to a fanclub, and free! It's an announcement mailing list - no discussion

Internet NO connection: Duane isn't online himself (as of May 2003). He's seen the site anyway, and would like to change a few things. Could be I've taken the offending items out in the last edit, but he didn't remember what he wanted taken out when we talked about it. BUT, since Duane has no internet connection himself, there's no point thinking he'll e-mail you back. Sorry!
So, who is Annie? I'm the same age as Dean Cain and Teri Hatcher (from Lois and Clark). Photography and HTML is pretty much what I do for kicks and work. Yeah, and I'm a singer and a Christian. A lot of people have asked if I'm a native myself. The answer is no, there's not one drop of native blood in me. I'm not a native wannabe. I have several native friends, though (mostly city Indians), and decided to make this homepage (I didn't know at the time it would grow into a monster...) to help my friend (Duane). I've known Duane for years now, and we talk a few times a month usually. If something's going on sometimes more than that. Usually we'll talk in "confidential mode", so that's one reason why I have few news on the site about Duane.
